These portraits and figures delve into the unstable space where identity blurs with perception. Across expressionist distortions and intimate finger-painted studies, I use the body and face to expose tension, hope, projection, and the fault lines of human connection. Some figures fracture under emotional weight; others emerge through touch and obsessive surface-building. Together, they investigate the volatile exchange between artist and subject—the desire to understand another, and the impossibility of ever fully knowing them.
